A founding philosophy for Velo Vie is how to give back to the cycling community and help it grow.  Sure, we sell great bikes at realistic price points, but there are gifted and deserving cyclists across the world that simply don’t have the budget for this sort of purchase.  We want to reach those cyclists too, so we came up with a win/win situation for current and future Velo Vie riders.

• Every two years from the anniversary of your purchase with Velo Vie, you will be contacted by email to notify you that you are eligible to trade in your current VeloVie frame in exchange for any of our current frames at 50% off the retail price.
• You will have 2 months from the date of notification to take advantage of this. 
• As frames begin to arrive back at Velo Vie, they will be thoroughly inspected for safety and overall condition. 
• Eligible frames will then be offered to individual riders at ridiculously low prices.  Riders will be required to submit an application to Velo Vie explaining how cycling fits into their lifestyle.  Individual riders do not have to be competitors, but must demonstrate a love for the support and a desire to make a positive contribution to the cycling community.
• Once the program is up and rolling, we’ll have a web page with rider profiles so that all Velo Vie riders can feel great about their participation in the Carbon Xchange Program.

Why it works for us:  We keep Velo Vie riders in the family.  We have the opportunity to reach cyclists we may not have had the privilege to work with.
